Tune into Justin's recent radio interview about the Justice for Jayson encampment in Bridgeport, a week-long protest outside of the Bridgeport Police Department.
The encampment ended on Saturday, June 20, after the Bridgeport City Council backed many of the organizers' demands, including demilitarizing and shifting funding from the police department, and removing officers from Bridgeport schools.
The week-long protest was organized by Justice for Jayson, a coalition formed after the police shooting of 15-year-old Jayson Negron in 2017. You can contribute to the Justice for Jayson Abolition Fund here.
