"A progressive leader for today's challenges... "

Josh Elliott grew up in Connecticut, graduated from Hamden Hall and Quinnipiac Law School, and co-owns Thyme & Season in Hamden. He understands the difficulties of running a small business, and supports policies that uplift working families. Since being elected in 2016, Josh has fought for progressive policies like Paid Family and Medical Leave, $15 minimum wage, and Paid Sick Days. Josh is also passionate about criminal justice reform, leading on the regulation and legalization of the recreational use of cannabis, decriminalizing psilocybin, and making Connecticut the first state to make telephone calls free for incarcerated people.
