Josh Elliott was first elected to represent Hamden's 88th District in 2016. Since then, he has been a strong advocate and organizer for progressive policies. An attorney and small business owner, Josh represents the future of a young, vibrant Connecticut. He runs two family-owned natural food stores with his mother, The Common Bond Market in Shelton and Thyme & Season in Hamden.
Josh attended high school and law school in Hamden, which he has called home for eight years. Outside of work, Josh volunteers for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an organization which provides guide dogs to people with vision loss, as well as service dogs to children with autism.
